Observe example report for a basketball jump shot showing the original clip, a reimagined improved shot, and strengths, weaknesses and tips

Strengths

You show good balance and a consistent stance with your feet positioned shoulder-width apart. Your focus on the target is clear and you bring the ball up smoothly into the shooting position, showing good overall control.

Weaknesses

Your shooting elbow flares slightly to the side and the ball is released a little low, which can reduce accuracy. Your follow-through is shortened, with your wrist not fully snapping towards the basket. You also tend to lean forward slightly, which can affect consistency, especially on longer shots.

Tips

Keep your shooting elbow closer to your body and aim to release the ball at a higher point. Focus on a full follow-through with your wrist flicking towards the basket and your fingers pointing down. Try to stay upright and balanced, finishing on your toes.

This is the first Observation, the baseline. The “Reimagined” image in the report is an AI visualisation of what better technique could look like, not a recording. AI can and does make mistakes, so use the feedback with discretion.
