Cricket – Drive Shot.An example AI feedback report.
This example shows the kind of report Observe sends back when a young batter’s drive is filmed. It covers what is working, what is causing edges, and a drill to practise next.

Strengths
You show good balance at address with your head reasonably still and your eyes well positioned. Your hand position is strong and you present a nice straight bat through much of the movement. Your timing looks good and you get good extension towards the ball.
Weaknesses
Your front foot tends to land slightly across the line, which can limit your ability to play a straight drive. Your head moves a little towards the ball, and your back elbow can drop, causing the bat to come from slightly outside the line. This can lead to an inconsistent bat face and occasional edges.
Tips
Focus on stepping your front foot straight down the line towards the ball and keeping your head over the ball. Maintain a higher back elbow and a relaxed grip to keep a straight bat path. Practise with a simple drill: place a stump or cone just outside your off stump and work on driving through the line without hitting it. This will help reinforce a straighter front-foot alignment and a more consistent bat face.
This is the first Observation, the baseline. The “Reimagined” image in the report is an AI visualisation of what better technique could look like, not a recording. AI can and does make mistakes, so use the feedback with discretion.
